Welcome to the blog of Lace Affair, your online shopping destination for the prettiest vintage-inspired clothing under the sun!

My name is Tatiana, and my mind gave birth to this site in 2010. I was strolling through Faneuil Hall Marketplace – Boston’s busiest tourist shopping destination – looking for something to wear out that night. But as I shopped through the chain stores, the mega stores, the so-called ‘alternative’ stores that are now on every street corner, I realized something: everything was the same! Same cut, same colors, same inflated prices. What if I wanted to be different?

I know there are girls like me out there. Girls who thrive on creativity and independence. Fun, fearless women who appreciate things like hand-sewn detailing, delicate lace, and individual dye-jobs. We’re the girly girls with a biker edge. We’re athletic with a feminine touch. We’re club girls in the 80′s. We work hard, we play hard.

There’s nothing basic about what you’ll find here. Everything is unique, everything is special. Each top, dress, each pair of earrings has a vintage vibe, modern styling, and is different from anything you’ll find in the mall.
